Washington – Tailoring Opioid Overdose Prevention Efforts for Diverse Groups within Tribal and Urban Indian Settings: A Toolkit for Supporting Diverse Groups
This toolkit addresses the unique needs of specific populations within Tribal communities, including LGBTQ2A individuals, youth, elders, and/or veterans. The toolkit, acknowledging that traditional support services may not address the needs of people who hold these additional identities, provides nuance and approaches for providers and organizations to consider when engaging in trauma-responsive screening, assessment, treatment, recovery, and prevention efforts related to opioid use and overdose prevention.
